Who are we
A balanced mix of enterprise industry veterans and young talent with experience in international projects, building complex web and mobile applications.
As a CEO, he heavily focuses on technology and people. Enthusiastically talks about competent people that surround him, and future plans for the company. He started developing software in 2004, and coded full time until 2014. Today he keeps up to date with relevant technologies and innovations, and while managing a company, still sets aside 20-30% of his time for coding to keep him sane. His technological focus is on the Spring ecosystem.
Mihael Sedmak, Chief Executive Officer
One of the Notch founders with a passion for coding. Started his career as a Java developer, gaining experience in startups and big enterprise companies alike. Technological focus on JVM stack (Java, Kotlin, Spring), DevOps, integration technologies, and IT security. An active member of our editorial team. Currently leading The Football Club project.
Domagoj Madunić, Co-founder and Board member
He started working as a software developer in the telco domain, building backend infrastructure that controlled messaging permeability – gateways (SMS, MMS) before switching to management roles. Focused mainly on backend technologies – Java, Spring, Spring Boot, with working knowledge of Angular when it comes to frontend development. He will continue strengthening the engineering and delivery culture of Notch.
Dragan Eldić, Chief Operating Officer
Marko joined Notch straight from college. He started as a software developer 9 years ago and has recently become Head of Engineering. In that time he worked on various projects and technologies with a current focus on Kotlin, Go, Java, Spring Boot on the backend, and React, Angular and Vue on the frontend. His current project is working on a mobile app for The Football Club, focusing on blockchain and NFTs.
Marko Štefančić, Head of Engineering
Leading the team of principal engineers whose main focus is to develop new, and add on to existing knowledge-sharing platforms. Technological focus on Java and Scala. An active member of our editorial team. Organizes internal technical workshops and is a strong advocate for continuous self-improvement. Currently, the product owner and tech lead on Digital.ai project.
Goran Pugar, Head of Principals
One of his roles as a principal is to define Notch’s technological way forward. An active member of the editorial team, he is invested in various educational activities that encourage active knowledge exchange between developers. Currently working on the Digital.ai project. His core technologies are Java and Spring with related technologies and integrations like JMS, RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ. He’s also passionate about testing and refactoring.
Darko Špoljarić, Principal Engineer
Joined Notch five years ago to form the QA team. With more than 25 years of coding experience, his current technological focus is on integration development and DevOps, with Python, Java, Go, AWS, Kubernetes. Currently working as a senior developer for StackState.
Hrvoje Ruhek, Senior Principal Engineer
A meteorologist by calling, Lukša joined Notch 4 years ago. Currently leading the team of 6 in aggregating real-time data from 13 ERP-s, developing a data center using Java for a giant Strabag project. He honed his coding skills while developing a platform for data collecting and dissemination for the Croatian Meteorological Service. His main technological focus is on Java, Java EE, Hibernate, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Lukša Kraljević, Software Engineering Division Lead
Pamela Matun, Software Engineer
Employee of the year, not in one, but in two companies. Great with words, great with software, he describes himself as Mišo Kovač, saying when he raises his arms, people around him code. His technological focus is on Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Terraform, GCP and OpenShift. Frontend technologies in focus are React and Angular. Currently working on a project developing software that communicates with the central database for EU-centered healthcare data for Atrify.
Nikola Mašić, Software Engineering Division Lead
Leading the newly formed DevOps team. Joined Notch 8 years ago and, in that time, worked in multiple domains, like railway, public services, banking, and telco. His main technological focus is on Java (Spring, Quarkus) and the Java ecosystem (Docker, Kubernetes, and Keycloak).
Ante Radoš, Principal Engineer
Joined Notch as the first .NET developer. His focus is on developing the .NET team further, making it more relevant in the internal backend “scene”. Core technologies include .NET, C#, F#, React, Angular, Docker, and Azure Cloud. His team is working on .NET 6, the most recent version of the software. Up until recently taught React at Algebra, but put it on hold due to MBA degree obligations.
