The Client
The client is one of the leading mold manufacturers, continually adapting to meet the needs of the glass container industry. Their molds are behind Coca-Cola, Jim Beam, Heineken, Jagermeister, and the world’s most famous perfumes like Chanel N°5.
The Challenge
Operators wasted 10–15 minutes searching for pallets. Optimization was needed, to enable time tracking for each manufacturing step, thus improving efficiency and pinpointing where delays occurred.
The Solution
Notch designed and implemented Spotsie, an ATEX-certified IoT location system giving operators real‑time visibility in environments where GPS fails. It also gave back‑office teams a single place to analyze movement history, and scale tracking across warehouses with minimal workflows disruption.
