However, operating on multiple continents and with that number of people through a number of different pools of information made simple tasks such as approvals complicated and time-consuming. The main challenge was the complexity of the data and infrastructure of the current ERPs, as well as the different technologies they were built on, accessible only via multiple Excel sheets and approvals pushed through several phone calls.
